Do you ever needed some encouragement to continue moving forward? I do. But not people encouragement, I need God encouragement. And He gives it.
So today here are some verses of encouragement from God’s word, because someone out there needs to read this verses today, so they can continue to march forth in their calling from the Lord.
You are a chosen vessel of the Lord.
In 2 Timothy 2:20-21, you can read, “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.”
If you are doing something that brings dishonor to God’s name, you need to repent, so you can continue to be used by God for His glory.
You are a vessel created to display God’s power.
Ephesians 6:10 tells you to be “strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.” When you are strong in the Lord, He gives you the power to complete the mission He sends you on. Stay in His word and you will stay strong. His power will uphold you in difficult times.
Hebrews 10:35-36 reminds you that God’s promise will be yours if you “therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.”
You are a vessel created to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 5:18 says to be filled with the Spirit. This can only happen when you yield your life and your will to God and let His Spirit be in control of your whole being.
Since you are on earth this does not happen 100% of the time, because you still sin at times, and during those times the Spirit is not in total control. However, as you read His word and spent more time with God you will find that you are able to allow the Spirit more control, more of the time.
You are a vessel chosen by God, allow Him to fill you and use you for His glory. When you do, you can march forth in victory.
Be a blessing,
